Stay in Wooden Barrels in Montenegro

Stay in Wooden Barrels in Montenegro

If you've ever thought you've seen all the unique accommodations for a few nights' stay, here's another challenge for you adventurers, which you can experience starting in mid-May.

Today, we will introduce you to the host Dejan from Montenegro, specifically from the town of Andrijevica. Dejan says that he has always dreamed of creating a unique mountain accommodation that would blend with nature, not disturb the natural surroundings, and offer something different from a traditional mountain cabin.

His dream began to take shape near the town of Andrijevica, just three and a half hours' drive from the Macedonian border. Specifically, these 'Wild Barrels,' as he likes to call them, are located at an altitude of 1750 meters in the Komovo area, which is rich in beautiful nature, forests, and of course, a million-dollar view.

Dejan says that guests here can enjoy walks through nature, interact with many domestic animals such as local horses, ride along the bike trails, and of course, relax in the tranquility surrounded by dense beech forests. As the host describes, the days here are pure enjoyment, and the sunsets are magical.

When we asked the most important question about when the reservation season opens, the hosts mentioned that the barrels are available for stays from mid-May to late autumn. However, this doesn't mean you should wait until then to make a reservation. Due to the popularity of this accommodation, the Kajak.mk team recommends making a reservation today. You can send a reservation request with a single click HERE.

You can reach the accommodation with a small car, but keep in mind that the last 2 kilometers of the road will be on a gravel road.

For more information about the accommodation, photos, and the option for online reservation, you can find everything with a single click HERE.
