Cozy Apartment for a Family Getaway
Cozy Apartment for a Family Getaway
Hey parents!
The Kajak.mk team has received tons of requests asking where you can take your kids — somewhere that’s not just the mountains.
Our eco team introduces you to Bragorski Apartment, located in one of the quietest and greenest towns in Macedonia. Where else, if not Makedonski Brod?
Take advantage of your kids' winter break and give them the chance to stay active in nature. In Makedonski Brod, you can explore various locations and organize educational tours where your children can learn something new along the way.

Makedonski Brod is definitely a town surrounded by nature, and one of the biggest advantages of this accommodation is its close proximity to Peshna Cave, a declared cultural monument.
The apartment is just a ten-minute walk from the town center. Nearby, you’ll find supermarkets, as well as courts for futsal, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. (Note: the tennis court requires prior reservation.) The apartment is also only a five-minute walk from the town’s football stadium, making it a perfect spot for jogging.

This accommodation is ideal for those who want to visit Peshna Cave, located on the right valley side of the Treska River. With dimensions of 16.8 by 52.4 meters, this cave is said by speleologists to have the largest cave entrance on the Balkans.
The ceiling of the entrance reaches a height of 40 meters, and the cave itself is about 50 meters wide, with a total length of 124 meters. Inside, swallows nest, and bats also inhabit the cave.

Peshna Cave was described in The New York Times as resembling the fictional caves from Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. Just a few hundred meters from the cave, the Treska River flows by, offering an ideal spot for fishing and picnics. The cave site is easily accessible to all visitors and provides a pleasant atmosphere for recreational tourism.
