Accommodation in Galichnik with a View Worth History

Accommodation in Galichnik with a View Worth History

Whoever hasn’t stayed in Galichnik hasn’t truly experienced Macedonia in its entirety. Galichnik is nature, history, active tourism, and love all in one. It is a place that will leave no one indifferent.

During the summer season in Galichnik, you won’t be able to avoid the moment to stop and chat with some of the elderly locals who sit under the deep shade in front of their homes, watching you curiously as you pass by the street.

In Galichnik, you will surely be asked: “Where are you from, child?”

To encourage you to visit Galichnik while it’s still warm (and by the way, the nights there are very pleasant), our database is enriched with another unique accommodation whose window views are truly historic.

Our team is happy that the host, Boško, has opened his doors to the world through Kajak.mk. From today, his home can be booked with just one click through our private accommodation database.

Galichka House: The house in Lepsheci consists of two rooms. Each room has three beds — one double bed and two single beds. The house features a beautiful yard where you can prepare delicious meals and exquisite specialties made from sheep’s Galichka cheese, which the hosts produce themselves. We will be writing more about this cheese in the coming days.

For those interested in visiting Galichnik, it is important to keep in mind to visit the churches located in Galichnik, explore the museum, and also make a trip to the place called "Ukalen," which offers a beautiful view of the Korab and Stogovo mountains, as well as the Radika River. Also not to be missed is the Church of St. Petka, located on the other side of Mount Bistra, just 5 kilometers away from Galichnik.

Also, through the "Kade Ovde" platform, you can book a horse herding tour in Galichnik.

As the cherry on top, the hosts allow pets to join as well.
