A Fairytale Accommodation in Macedonia Offers an Unforgettable Experience

A Fairytale Accommodation in Macedonia Offers an Unforgettable Experience

There are many local heroes who do small things of great significance for the development of tourism in Macedonia. The team at Kajak.mk aims, during the platform's existence, to introduce you to all those worth meeting and whose stories are worth hearing.

Today, we take you to the village of Orman, located 2 kilometers from Ohrid. The village lies on the slopes of Čekoština, about 1.8 kilometers from Lake Ohrid in a straight line, and at an elevation of 684 meters above sea level.

In the village itself, on an area of about 7000 m², there is a beautiful new destination that the Kajak.mk team recommends as a must-visit on your list of destinations. It is Chateau Orman, a uniquely utilized space for relaxation, accommodation, and tasting various local products and wines.

We spoke with Natasha, the woman who opened the doors to the world of Kajak.mk and told us how a place originally envisioned as a private agro-complex, where various vegetable and fruit products could be grown and served to guests, has evolved into a beautiful, unique accommodation. This place has transformed into a tourist destination that is rarely found in Macedonia.

Natasha adds that the fact that they are located next to the flow of the Daljan River or Kostelska River makes this place unique for tourists. The surrounding area, with its forested terrain, offers an opportunity for a beautiful walk through the Čekoština area, where there are vineyards and a view of Lake Ohrid. Nearby, you can find the churches of St. Naum in the village of Orman and St. Erasmus, and just 1 kilometer away are many famous beaches.
