Папата Франциско мисата по повод последната вечера на Исус, пренесувана синоќа на интернет и ТВ, ја служеше во речиси празна црква. Тој потсети на напорите на свештениците, лекарите и негувателите и жртвите од Ковид-19, пишува дојчевеле.
Пристапот до плоштадот Свети Петар е забранет. Единствени посетители покрај фонтаната Ди Треви се неколку гулаби. И на барокниот плоштад Навона, меѓу калдрмата расте трева. Ваква слика на Рим никогаш не може да се види. Улиците се пусти, без луѓе, ролетните на рестораните се спуштени. И тоа кратко пред Велигден, токму во време кога градот вообичаено е полн со туристи.
